Passenger handle issue on 2018 Deluxe

Neighbor let me have his 2018 Honda Pioneer 1000 Deluxe after some light use. Problem is, his dad used the trailer's side door as a mount and nearly tore the cab handle off its mounts. Only 1 screw is hanging on. Should I be looking at removing the inside panel to get this fixed right? Hoping I can just grab a handle without buying a full door

Try to pull the inside panel and take a peak if there's damage behind it or something. If the mounting points aren't damaged, you can probably just swap in a new handle and that's it. No need to buy a full door unless things are really, really toast.

Thanks @s.queue.r and @J.Dahmer for the suggestions. I will pull the inside panel and check the condition of the mounting points when I get the time. Are there any special tools you recommend for removing the panel clips without breaking them?

Yeah, a good panel clip remover, those forked plastic pry tools work great and save the clips from breaking, maybe a trim tool set too

The trim tool set was the correct reco for getting the panel off cleanly. I was able to remove it this past weekend and inspect the damage behind it. The plastic mounting points on the door panel itself are cracked where the handle attaches. Has anyone had success using epoxy or a plastic welder to rebuild these mounting areas?

I have had good luck with plastic welding for cracks like that when I reinforce it from behind. I mean Epoxy can work too, but it really depends on how much stress that handle sees.
