2022 Pioneer 1000 oil change cost

How much is your usual expense for your Pioneer, to those who have the 1000? The recommendation for us is to get it in every 500 miles. Is that normal? I have to pay $400 every time and it's like $1600 every year for this. Too much. Care to share your expenses?

You can purchase a complete oil change kit with OEM parts online and do it yourself. They're priced around $100, really big savings compared to your $400. Then if you're really cautious, then just schedule an annual trip to the shop. That still saves you a lot!

$400 per service?! man, that's a ripoff! The regular service, oil and filter changes with some basic inspection should be half of that. For $400 you should get you a full inspection, suspension checks, valve clerances and a ton of other things

Thats too much, I usually just do basic fluid changes myself and save the bigger service for once a year or around 2,000 miles, maybe $150 to $200 total yearly if you DIY, dont mind the dealers, they love pushing that 500 mile schedule hard, but unless you're riding super rough or in deep water/mud constantly, it's probably overkill
