A buddy installed a voltmeter on his old Pioneer 500 and didn't notice much drain but I just put 1 on my 2024 Pioneer 700 and it's already dipping a bit after 2 days parked. Debating adding a toggle under the seat.

I can relate, I added a voltmeter to my 2024 Pioneer 700 and noticed the battery dropping after just a few days. Installing a toggle switch under the seat is a clever idea to turn off the power when it's parked. Alternatively, you could connect it to the ignition so it only operates when the bike is on. It really helps avoid battery issues.

Appreciate the confirmation. I was starting to think I was imagining it. I've got some time this weekend so I'll look into wiring it to the ignition 1st, then toggle switch as backup if that's more hassle than it's worth. Did you tap into an existing wire or run a new 1 for the voltmeter? Curious how clean you got it.

That sounds like a smart plan. Using an ignition tap really helps keep things neat. I'm eager to see how well the final setup comes together.
