Display unit has 19 miles on it

Left work early last night and stopped by a dealer who had a 2024 Pioneer 1000-6 Forest on promo. The machine looks brand new, but I noticed it has 19 miles on the odometer. The sales guy said it's just from test drives but I don't really buy that. No one drives that long LOL for a test drive of a Pioneer? Is that even allowed? Anyway, would you consider 19 miles a red flag or is it just normal for a display unit?

19 miles isn't a big deal for a display unit, especially on something like the Pioneer UTV, where test drives can go on for ages or even get a bit wild off-road. I'd just take a moment to look for any signs of hard use and check if the fluids have been changed. If it looks clean and runs smoothly, I wouldn't worry too much about it. By the way, are you getting a discount on this one?

Did the dealer mention if it was ever used in a demo event or off-site show? That might explain the miles better than just "test drives" at the lot

actually, you're right to be suspicious. The best way to get a real answer is to ask the dealer for the Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) report.
Every new machine has this paperwork, and it should show the mileage when it was first unboxed and inspected. That will tell you how many miles were put on by the dealer. It's a non negotiable piece of a new vehicle's history
