Finally got my hands on the Pioneer 1000-6

I have been saving up long enough for this. Finally did the switch after I stuck with my Hisun Axis 500 for a couple years. That's just too bad and gets me nowhere. But then when I got this thing, I saw some scratches on the red plastic body panels? I took it back to the dealer because it gives me the ick but they said to shrug it off as it's normal.

Is it really normal? Has any of you experienced the same?

What do you mean normal? No, it can't be normal for a new vehicle to look old and poorly handled. If your sales agreement says "new" then you have every right to look for a new vehicle, not used, not scratched. Dealers like to dismiss the cosmetic flaws just to avoid warranty claims. You should not give up until you get a new car.

nope, that is absolutely not normal, and the dealer is trying to get you to just go away. A new machine should be delivered without scratches.
I would immediately take detailed photos of all the scratches, note the name of the person who told you to 'shrug it off,' and call a different Honda Powersports dealer to ask them what their policy is on brand new units with cosmetic defects. Get a second opinion and use it as leverage
